2003 BC Ladies' Junior Championship
Arbutus Ridge Golf & Country Club – Jessica Potter of Swan-E-Set Golf Club shot an even par of 71 to come from behind and upset 2002 CLGA National Junior Champion, Eom-Ji Park. Going into the final day three strokes back, Potter elevated her game, while Park struggled on the back nine.
Joining Potter on the Provincial Junior Team will be Lindsay Caljouw, Inah Park, and Kirby Dreher, who will set out to repeat last year’s team performance by winning the 2003 CLGA Junior Team Championship.
The next stop for our top Juniors will be a chance to compete with the Pros in the BMO Pro-Am Tournament on Monday, July 7th. Meanwhile, Eom-Ji Park will have to regroup in preparation for the BMO Canadian Women’s Open, which starts on Thursday, July 10th at Point Grey Golf & Country Club.
