With the 2010 VANCOUVER OPEN (www.vancouveropen.ca) event only 10 days away, we want to pass along a few important event reminders to all current players registered and to those who still want to play in this year’s event. You will find a comprehensive event schedule attached in this email outlining each day’s event details. Please take a few minutes to read over the following VANCOUVER OPEN event reminders to help you prepare yourself for this year’s event:

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Has been extended TO WEDNESDAY, SEPT.1ST @ 6PM or when a full field of 80 Professionals & 144 Amateur Golfers have registered. To register, click www.vancouveropen.ca.
PRACTICE ROUND POLICIES: As of Aug.26th, all competitors registered for the 2010 Vancouver Open are being offered a twilight rate at all three Vancouver Parks Golf courses one hour prior to the posted twilight time for each course. Players are allowed to book one week in advance in these timeslots (2 days in advance of the public booking). Please see the attached document for full details.
COMPLETE GOLF SEMINARS: Open for up to 12 Vancouver Open contestants at the completion of your practice rounds on Sept.1st and Sept.7th at Fraserview. The cost is $55.00 + HST and includes your practice round, burger/fries or salad and beverage and Complete Golf Seminar to GET YOUR GAME READY for the Vancouver Open!! VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED: We still need 10-15 volunteers to ensure all hole-spotting areas are covered for the Vancouver Open. If you can help us out for any of the 3 days, please fill out the attached form or send onto anyone you know!! We are now offering our volunteers two options to become involved with the event:
Volunteers who want to collect an exclusive Red VGT/Adidas Team Shirt and have lunch provided for each shift served can pay the fee of $28.
Volunteers who want to participate without paying a fee will be required to sport their own red golf shirt and to provide for their own meals.
