Canadian Tour Announces Chasing The Dream Schedule
Canadian Tour Television Productions and the Golf Channel are proud to announce the 2008 schedule for “Chasing The Dream.” The program provides a summary of each Canadian Tour event and also includes player profiles, statistics, a history of each Tour city, and much more.
A segment entitled “The Best Tip Ever” has players sharing the best advice they have received. Brent Schwarzrock explains what keeps him long and straight off the tee while 6’8 Walt Keating offers short games tips for men of his stature.
The portion “Living the Dream” will showcase Canadian Tour alumni who have graduated to the PGA TOUR. Mike Weir, Steve Stricker and many others will discuss the role the Canadian Tour played in their success.
Also, the complicated rules of golf will be examined using scenarios that have occurred on the Canadian Tour.
“The opportunity to manage and produce Chasing the Dream is one that we have coveted for some time,” said Bram Cotton, Canadian Tour manager of marketing and communications. “The expanded role that we are now taking demonstrates the faith the Golf Channel has in our capabilities and gives us another platform to enhance our partnerships with stakeholders.”
The 2008 season premier is Monday May 12 from 6 – 7 p.m. Eastern Time. Moe Norman, 13-time Canadian Tour winner, will be profiled. Check your local listings for additional airings.
