Pacific Northwest Golfer Magazine Teams with Seattle Golf & Travel Show

Federal Way, Wash. – The February/March 2012 issue of Pacific Northwest Golfer magazine, Washington edition, has again partnered with the Seattle Golf & Travel Show, the largest consumer golf show on the West Coast. The issue of the industry-leading publication will be the official program and magazine of the event, and will be the only program handed out to the event’s estimated 10,000 attendees. The Seattle Golf & Travel Show will be held February 10-12, 2012 at CenturyLink Field Event Center in downtown Seattle. The magazine is published by the Pacific Northwest Golf Association (PNGA), the region’s non-profit charitable golf association. This is the fourth consecutive year for this partnership.

The Washington edition of the magazine’s February issue will also serve as the program for the Spokane Golf & Travel Show. The Idaho edition of the issue will serve as the program for the Mountain West Golf Expo (Boise), and the British Columbia edition will serve as the program for the Vancouver Golf & Travel Show.

“We see this as an obvious and natural fit,” said Troy Andrew, PNGA Executive Director. “We have always sought ways to link the region’s golf community and to support the region’s associations; to support those who support the game. Having our magazine be the event’s program is a way to bring a quality product and service to all the golfers in the region, as well as provide an avenue for the golf industry to promote their products and services to that community.”

The Seattle Golf & Travel Show is endorsed and supported by the Pacific Northwest Golf Association and the Pacific Northwest Section PGA. The event is owned and produced by Golf Shows and Events West.

The program – the Golf Washington edition of Pacific Northwest Golfer – will be direct-mailed to the targeted homes of 55,000 golfers in Washington and Northern Idaho. It will also be available on site to all of the attendees and exhibitors at the event, and will be available at selected golf outlets during the week leading up to the event. The total circulation of the magazine proper is 123,000 households. Pacific Northwest Golfer magazine is a member benefit of the Pacific Northwest Golf Association.

With a direct-mailed circulation of 123,000 households, the Golfer magazine has been the voice of golf in the Northwest for 17 years. It is the only Northwest golf publication with a verifiable demographic of its readership. The Golfer is all about golf, and dedicated to golfers. It is the official magazine of the British Columbia, Idaho, Oregon, Washington State and Pacific Northwest Golf Associations, as well as the Pacific Northwest Section PGA. Published by the PNGA, a 501c3 charitable international amateur golf association, the Golfer is a member benefit delivered to men’s and women’s clubs, either public or private of the region’s state and provincial golf associations.
