Vermee Wins Sunset IPGA Event
At the halfway point of the Callaway Interior PGA Tour, event #5 took place yesterday Monday, June 2nd. Believe it or not the weather finally cooperated with a tour event and the sun was more than welcome by the field.
Host golf club Sunset Ranch Golf and Country Club was in tremendous condition and proved to be an excellent venue for the tournament. Head Professional Bruce Vermee of Sunset Ranch Golf & Country Club took advantage of his home course knowledge to capture first place in a field of 25 fellow professionals.
A huge thank you goes out to GM Bob Calder for holding this event and to Bruce Vermee and staff for organizing the event details. The tour moves on to Predator Ridge Golf Resort Monday, June 30th, the course is expected to be in amazing condition after hold the 2008 Telus Skins Game.
