Lynda Palahniuk Wins 2002 Rivershore Ladies Amatuer Championship

The overall low gross winner was Lynda Palahniuk from the Ponderosa Golf Club In Peachland. She scored a two day total of (145) to take the Championship. Melissa Newman-Gillespie, a two club member (Aberdeen & Rivershore) was runner up low gross shooting a score of (149). Shelley Long (Rivershore) was the overall low net winner by retrogression with a score of (140). Runner up, low net was Lynda Emsland also from Rivershore, (140R)

2nd flight low gross, Peggy Mabee, Eagle Point Golf Club, (181).

3rd flight low gross, Heather Heron, Aberdeen Golf Club, (188).
3rd flight low net, Pat Esdale, Rivershore Golf Links, (145).

4th flight low gross, Rita Kilmartin, Rivershore Golf Links, (198).
4th flight low net, Audrey Peace, Aberdeen Golf Club, (146).

There was also a two Lady Team event that was held on the Saturday. Here are the results of that day of play.

Second low gross, Lynda Palahniuk / Rhonda Poullous, (70)
Second low net, Mary Moody / Kathy Mcleod, (60)

Third low net, Shelley Howieson / Joanne Mick, (61)
