The 2006 Wilson Staff / Hi-Tec BC PGA Pro-Assistant Championship presented by Weir Golf Premium kicked off Monday at the Dunes at Kamloops, welcoming 48 teams from around the province for a two-day team format featuring BC PGA Head / Executive Professionals and one of their Assistant Professionals.

The BC PGA Golf Awards honor top achievers for excellence in the golf profession. Each year the Association honors individuals, and companies, for the outstanding achievements, promotion of the game of golf, and professionalism. The gala event takes place annually in conjunction with the BC PGA Trade Show.

The first round of the 2005 American Express - Titleist /Footjoy BC PGA Championship Presented by E-Z-GO and the Senior Men's Divison commenced yesterday at the Salmon Arm Golf Club in Salmon Arm, BC.

Philip Jonas of McCleery G.C. and Jennifer Wyatt of Savage Creek G.C. have a lot to celebrate tonight. Both were defending champions heading into this week, and both walked away as repeat winners in their respective championships.
