Commissioner Richard Janes today announced that the Canadian Professional Golf Tour would return to the Province of Saskatchewan beginning in 2008 after an absence of almost 24 years.

The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour's 4th annual MJT-CPGA Saskatchewan Junior Championship presented by AirSource successfully concluded at The Willows Golf Club in Saskatoon on July 5th, after two days of hot, sunny weather.

The Saskatchewan season-opener on the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s only national junior tour run exclusively by Golf Professionals, was held this past weekend at Moon Lake Golf Club in Saskatoon, where young players from Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta competed for a spot on Maple Leaf Team Canada to Mexico.

The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s only national junior tour run exclusively by Canadian PGA Professionals and one of Canada’s most successful junior golf programs, is boosting its program in Saskatchewan this year.

Despite wind and pouring rain which almost threatened to shorten the tournament, the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s (MJT) CPGA of Saskatchewan Junior Championship successfully concluded yesterday at Deer Valley Golf and Estates near Regina.
